Hey here are some stuff I made. Like food and drawings and words and stuff. I read a lot and watch even more.

This is my goodreads account, if you are so inclined;

I call it “Nutella-sandwiched-between-two-pancakes,-topped-with-chocolate-gelato-and-maple-syrup-and-dollops-of-cream.”
I’m sure one day I will know it by it’s true name; “DIABETUUS”.

So I made some 44 clove garlic soup (http://smittenkitchen.com/2006/08/a-44-clove-ticket-to-a-happier-place/) and pesto and parmesan cheese bread (http://www.cookingbread.com/classes/class_pesto_bread.html), both courtesy of the r/cooking bit of reddit. And some free time I guess.

The pesto bread was pretty nice, I guess, but not like it had any choice with pesto and cheese as the main ingredients. Also got a wee bit burnt. But holy crap the garlic soup tasted magnificent. I kinda burnt most of the first lot of garlic that I put into roast, so it’s more like 50 clove soup, but that seemed to make it more delicious…er. Roasted garlic’s a lot sweeter then you’d expect.

What Brisbane was like in January. Yeah I so timely.

Pictures are all of the same big puddle that’s a block or two wide, about threeish city blocks in from where the river is supposed to be. Pretty crazy. River was all like ‘splash’.

ringmastergoldie asked: Agreed on the awfulness of the X-men line at the end. Plus that scene where they were all at the compound and were like "Oh, let's casually make up names for ourselves and show each other what we can do!"

Yeah, but worth for all the good bits. Like seeing Xavier and Fassbender being badasses and going round picking up the First Class. Who really weren’t too useful except as cannon fodder or sudden-but-inevitable betrayals.

They might as well’ve removed the ancillary characters and called it ” Charles and Eric; Best Buddies Fo’ Sho’ “.

If you haven’t been following my griping about my computer, the short story is my charger died and I was without internet minus the maclab and library for a good 2 (or was it 3?) weeks. As I had nothing to do during the time of my computer exile, a time which now goes down in the history of…

[Or “And Why You Should Also Buy Our Book.” I mentally wrote this, what I’d been calling my “I Love Cracked Manifesto” about two years ago, because it was important to me to be able to concretely articulate why I was always comfortable spending more time working than doing anything else. As the…
